SAILING SEAGLE
SEAGLE IS A LAGOON 400 (S2) CATAMARAN BUILT IN 2017
She is 11.95m long and her beam is 7.25m. Her draft is 1.21m and she sits sturdy on her two weighted keels. Her hull is 1cm laminated plastic, vacuum infused, under the water line and balsa core for the rest, except for all attachments. She weighs empty nearly 11000 kg! We ordered her with an owner's cabin at starboard and two cabins with toilet and shower in the middle on port side. She is the last model from Lagoon with the mast forward and a manual jib!
She has 2 Yanmar engines (45HP), which gives her about 4 knots of cruising speed on 1 engine. We can take onboard 400 liters of diesel and 600 liters of water. Toilets are electric with holding tanks and we have a small washing machine. We have also installed a watermaker and have some petrol onboard for our dinghy engine, a Honda 20HP.
We have different sails onboard and we like our Parasailor (140 m2) but most popular is our gennaker (76 m2), which we can furl in our out from our bowsprit. Our main (56 m2) can be reefed down 4 times to 13 m2, if needed.
