Canary Islands, Now
We arrived to the Canary Islands in November 2022.
First stop was the northernmost island, Lanzarote.
From there we continued our journey to Gran Canaria, Las Palmas, where we met fellow sailors of the Viking Explorer rally. We had a plan to crossing over to the Caribbeans together, but finally decided to stay and fix some important boat issues and to discover the Canary Islands. During the winter months we sailed over to Tenerife, La Palma and La Gomera islands.
At the moment we are in Santa Cruz Marina, looking after Seagle and ourselves.

CHEERS!
Mediterranean Sea, 2022
We got some good winds, so we arrived in Sicily in three days.
Our next destinations: Mallorca, Cabrera Island, Ibiza, Cartagena, Motril and finally Gibraltar.
We said final goodbye to Marina del Cavallino on the 3rd of June 2022 and now headed south towards Greece. We camped on the island of Erikoussa for a while to blow off some steam. After a fantastic month, we left the small island and sailed further south on the Mediterranean.
Croatia, 2021
We sailed on the Adriatic this summer.
The first stop on our way was a small town in Croatia called Novigrad.
We spent pleasant time in different places like Unije, Losinj, Rab, Ilovik, Krk enjoying the bright sunshine and blue water.
Italy, 2020
According to locals, the weather was particularly unpredictable and capricious throughout the Adriatic this summer. On the way back towards the port of Cavallino, we got into a sudden rough storm with a wind on the nose of gusting up to 35 knots. We suffered sail damage and a few items were blown off the deck by the storm. We certainly do not want to be in a similar situation in the future. Guess we need to be much more careful about route planning! Seagle has already covered 5,000 nautical miles.
We hope there will be many more!
Due to Covid 19 we had to abandon our plan to visit Corfu again.
We have planned to sail around Greece in September and October this year, avoiding the high season and hoping for a more pleasant climate. In the end unfortunately was not possible to get further than Italy. We spent a longer time in Termoli in the south of Italy.
Until to our destination our usual waypoints were in Ancona, Porto San Giorgio and Pescara. From Termoli, we took a ferry ride to the crystal clear waters of the Tremiti Islands, besides also spent a few days in Polignano a Mare.
Greece, 2019 - Corfu, Erikoussa
We sailed the Adriatic Sea from Cavallino all the way down to Corfu. Max was able to join us for a month during his summer vacation. Unfortunately, he had to travel back home from Corfu at the end of August to start school in France. Now the two of us alone, we sailed over to Erikoussa, a very nice little Greek island. Fortunately, the tourist season was already over and this allowed us to fully enjoy the local hospitality. A nice small port has been built on the island with EU support. We were very happy to spend two weeks here, enjoying the peace, nature and the greek cuisine.
Marina de Cavallino in Italy has been Seagle's home port between 2017-2022 May.
We loved our summers here, the Italian cuisine and the peaceful surroundings.
We couldn't stand the mosquitoes alone, they ate us alive in the evenings.
The weather is quite exceptional around Venice.
It happens quite often that the water level rises so high that it floods the ports, power lines sink into the water. Fortunately, we were always stably tied up.
How it started - Delivery Tour in 2017
The Maiden Voyage from the Lagoon Factory to Les Sables-d'Olonne, then to Sicily. Tobbe along with Ron Gertler made the first voyage on Seagle from France to Sicily. Tünde and Max joined Tobbe on board and the three of them continued their sailing to Venice, Italy.
